Have You Heard About the Aloha Philosophy?
First of all, I love this word and the deeper meaning of Aloha. I use the Hawaiian philosophy for healing and relaxing the mind and soul. 🙂
I have been in Oahu, Hawaii in 2013 and since this time I kept the spirit of this island in my heart. It is really a beautiful place, with an unique life philosophy.
During stressful or difficult situation or times, everybody can benefit from the ancient Hawaiian philosophy. I belief in their philosophy, because I practice it, since I was in Oahu. It can change your life in a holistic way. You can open different levels of your consciousness and this spirit can have healing affects on your soul and on your body. Aloha works, even when things seem terrible, because it is such a powerful construct.
The Hawaiian philosophy is about their observation of human beings, nature, flora and fauna around them. They call it “Huna”, which refers to the esoteric wisdom of Polynesia.
There are 7 Principles of Huna, which are secret ancient beliefs, developed tens of 1000s of years ago. It’s a life philosophy.
Huna, means “secret”, “inner knowing”, or “hidden knowledge”.
The 7 Principles of Huna are:
- IKE – (The world is what you think it is.)
- KALA – (There are no limits, everything is possible.)
- MAKIA – (Energy flows where attention goes.)
- MANAWA – (Now is the moment of power.)
- MANA – (All power comes from within.)
- PONO – (Effectiveness is the measure of truth.)
I will go over the other 6 principles of Huna in future blog posts.
So let’s talk about the principles of Aloha!
In Hawaii, Aloha means “Love”, “Compassion” and “Acceptance”.
But it also means inclusion, sharing, being invested in others, being part of a whole, everyone is welcome, I am happy you are here. Aloha means “we are Ohana” (family).
So when you say Aloha, to say “Hello” or “Goodbye”, you should be aware about all those meanings and you will maybe express yourself different and the person will recognize what you want to share with him or her.
The Aloha spirit is a guide for treating people around you with love and compassion. The more you express your love and compassion for yourself and those around you, the more it comes back to you.
The deeper meaning: (alo) sharing (ha) of life energy / (alo) in present (oha) joyful
But the Aloha philosophy includes also 19 values.
It is about how you are living your life. It’s not meant to harm and not meant to cause unhappy to others.
That’s the reason why it is such a powerful way to resolve any problems, achieve a goal and any state of mind or body you are longing for.
Keep the following sentence in your mind and think about the aloha philosophy and maybe you will say a “Hello” or a “Goodbye” in a different way.
The Hawaiian philosophy is like a powerful guide to live your life with more humanity, peace, love, kindness, and respect for yourself – others and the nature.
You can mange your stress level, depression and anxiety with the values of Aloha!
It will make you a much better and stronger person, if you become the best version of yourself. It will affect in a positive and productive way other people that are surrounded around you.
It’s like a life upgrade, where you will experience a healthy body, mind and soul.
Love = Happiness 🙂
So are you ready for the Aloha philosophy and values to upgrade your life?
Let’s live together a peaceful, and happy life!
